Our Six-Month Digital Animation course is designed for those wishing to acquire industry-leading digital animation skills, which are highly sought after in the filmmaking industry, and to develop a showreel as a calling card for future employers. Students are taught by a full-time industry-professional tutor for the duration of the course, with 1:1 personal time every week. The Digital Animation programme begins with a three-week introduction to Maya and Nuke and also touches upon other related software that will be used during the course. The topics covered are based on standard Character Animation Pipelines used within the industry. Students also benefit from school visits to Award-Winning postproduction and VFX facilities in London. Past visits have included industry-leaders Framestore and Blue Zoo Animation. It’s an intensive period of study where the students will be covering the main areas of 2D and 3D CG within software such as Autodesk Maya and Mudbox, The Foundry Mari and Nuke, HDR Lightstudio and Substance Designer.
