a minimum of 45 hours flying, in addition you will need to complete a Structured Hours Building of 150 flying hours (70 hours as pilot in command) before you can commence a CPL. The Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) is designed to give you the skills and experience you need to make approaches in poor weather and fly in Class A airspace.
