Our combined MCC / JOC course offers the full MCC and JOC course content but on a more evenly paced course, where elements of the MCC are introduced throughout the full 40 hours. The MCC/JOC is offered as a combined package at a discounted price – but still giving the student 40 hours of jet training in either the B737-400 or CRJ-200. This course meets EASA requirements. This unique two-week course in the U.K., for boys and girls (14-18 years), will give an insight into what it is like to work within the aviation industry. They will experience many aspects of life as a pilot, including flying lessons on light aircraft, Boeing 747 simulator, and emergency training with British Airways. Also visits to aviation museums, airline headquarters as well as some exciting recreational activities, sightseeing in London and Cardiff. The students will stay in the halls of residence of Brunel University in London, where they will also have English lessons most days. There will be some talks with pilots and other airline professionals as well. This is a really good way to help young people to decide whether or not they would like a career in aviation and is a wonderful experience for the participants. They will go home with improved English language, flying experience, a broader outlook on life having spent time with other kids from around the world, not to mention having a lot of fun during the two weeks. The British Aviation Experience - Teenage package (Age 14 to 18) A unique two week aviation course in the United Kingdom Pilot Flight Training (3 Hours of Flight) Each student will have three flying lessons of 1 hour on different days* The flying school is fully approved to teach pilots for the European (EASA) Private Pilot's Licence and Light Aircraft Pilot Licence. All ground school, pilot flight training and flight tests required are conducted by the flight school at the airfield by professional instructors and flight examiners dedicated to providing high quality training. The student will also receive items of uniform, a pilot’s logbook with flights recorded, photograph and a certificate. London Sightseeing ​ Students will be able to enjoy time in London to see the many famous sights such as Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, St. Pauls Cathedral and the London Eye, to name but a few. ​ Simulator Day – Cardiff Students will fly the famous Boeing 747-400 “Jumbo Jet” in an airline standard full motion flight simulator. A perfect opportunity for would-be pilots to get a real feel for what it’s like to be a pilot on the Boeing 747. Students will fly 30 minutes as Pilot in Command (PIC), 30 minutes as co-pilot and one hour as an observer. Each student will receive a certificate and photograph.
