During the programme, our teachers will carry out a free placement test and needs analysis to check your level. The courses in academic or general English aims to help and prepare overseas students attain the required level of English for undergraduate third level education in Irish universities and colleges. The timeframe of the course will vary depending on your level of English and the required level for your academic course. The course can be taken from 4 to 25 week duration. You can choose the 'Cambridge Classic' or the 'Cambridge Gold' programme depending on which suits your goals, time & budget best.
The 'Classic' offers 20 micro-group lessons per week and plenty of opportunities for self study outside the lesson time with full use of the school's resources and your teacher will give you a 'self study plan'.
Or, you could choose the 'Gold' option which offers 20 micro-group lessons PLUS 5 hours per week of 'one to one' lessons with your own private tutor to really focus on the skills that you want special 'one to one' help with.
