Morning Classes and Afternoon Activities

This autumn course provides the opportunity for those over 50 to explore historic sites of East Sussex whilst meeting like-minded people and improving their English in LTC’s unique 18th-century location.

After English classes in the morning, a series of activities and trips will be arranged in the afternoons. An example of our social programme for 2019 can be seen below. This is subject to change.

Friday 27th September 2019 Free afternoon

Saturday 28th September 2019 Day trips (with Discovery Tours or Lynns Travel)

Sunday 29th September 2019 Day trips (with Discovery Tours or Lynns Travel)

Monday 30th September 2019 Heritage Centre and Wish Tower

Tuesday 1st October 2019 Beachy Head Bus Tour

Wednesday 2nd October 2019 Visit to Sheffield Park Gardens

Thursday 3rd October 2019 Historic Tour of LTC

Friday 4th October 2019 Fish and Chips lunch with teachers

Saturday 5th October 2019 Day trips (with Discovery Tours or Lynns Travel)

Sunday 6th October 2019 Day trips (with Discovery Tours or Lynns Travel)

Students are welcome to study either one or two weeks, during which time they will be mixed with other nationalities and be placed in local homestay.
