Program Description
Course in Tourism - Short Programme in Billing and Settlement Planning
Certification
Upon successful completion of the programme, the learner will receive the Billing and Settlement Planning Certificate from the external provider.
Entry Requirements
- Knowledge, comprehension and application of English language and Mathematical literacy at Grade 11 or equivalent.
- It is recommended that learners have relevant occupational experience.
- Admission may be subject to an interview with an academic staff member.
Course Duration
The programme duration is 30 hours and tuition is face-to-face. Each Damelin campus has a different tuition schedule. Programmes are offered during the week, in the evenings, or on Saturdays.
Course Intro
Billing and Settlement Planning is a system designed to facilitate and simplify the selling, reporting and remitting procedures of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Accredited Passenger Sales Agents, as well as improve financial control and cash flow for Billing and Settlement Planning Airlines. A truly worldwide system: at the close of 2009, there were 86 Billing and Settlement Planners, covering more than 160 countries and territories serving about 400 airlines, while gross sales processed amounted to USD 191 billion.
