LADO is most interested in you realizing your dreams that may not be as easy to achieve without knowledge of English. That is why we are committed to making sure you receive personal attention from Directors, Admissions Officers, and teachers.
We understand the importance of small class sizes - we want you to receive as much individual attention as possible, and be comfortably familiar with your classmates and teachers. That is why we do not have classes over 15 students, with rare exceptions, and our average class size in the Morning Intensive program is 8 students.
In the classroom, we aim to give you practical and functional English skills - we know that you will have to use English in many settings: in school; at your workplace; on the street; in a bar. Our lessons will give you the English skills to navigate these situations, and the critical-thinking skills needed to thrive in a foreign country.
This program is best for students who want to meet English goals daily, all before late afternoon. Our 9am-1:55pm daily schedule means you will have plenty of time during the day and evening to review what you learned, do homework or projects, and still have time to relax and take in your new environment.
All of our schools in the DC region are located within walking distance of Metro stations and various apartment buildings, so you can spend more time studying and living than being in traffic.
