Program Description

This 24-week annual course contains two semesters of enhanced language and civilization courses (winter semester, from October to January and the spring semester, from February to May.

From Monday to Friday, this formula offers in the winter semester (from October to January) :

  • Language courses (3 hours per day) which allow students to progress in mastering French (grammar, conjugation, spelling, vocabulary, approach to literary texts, written and oral expression).
  • Phonetics lessons (1 hour per day) which allow students to improve their pronunciation, but also their comprehension and expression.

From Monday to Friday, this formula offers during the spring semester (from February to May) :

  • Language courses that allow students to progress in mastering French (grammar, conjugation, spelling, vocabulary, approach to literary texts, written and oral expression).
  • Phonetics lessons that allow students to improve their pronunciation, but also their comprehension and expression.
  • Weekly conferences on various aspects of French civilization.

Course details

  • 20 hours a week
  • 480 hours in total
  • 24 weeks

Proposed courses:

October to January

  • French language course (15 hours per week)
  • Phonetics with laboratory (5 hours per week)

From February to May

  • French language course (10 hours per week)
  • Phonetics with laboratory (5 hours every other week)
  • Civilization conferences (9 hours per week for 10 weeks)
