Students and students of this program are experimenting, testing and chemical analysis in addition to the sample taken using devices and equipment used in the laboratory of chemistry and the environment. Future technicians and chemistry technicians participate in a practical training camp in the wild and industry tours to deepen their knowledge.

Conditions of admission :

  • high school diploma in Ontario or equivalent from another province, or the candidate status or adult candidate
  • 2 French credits (at least 1 mandatory group course): grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university
  • 1 mathematics credit: grade 12, pre-college or pre-university
  • 1 chemistry credit: grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university

Recommended course or other:

1 physics credit: grade 11 or 12, pre-college or pre-university

Required profile :

A diligent person, autonomous, with strengths in mathematics and good reasoning ability.

Note:

  • Graduates of this program have the opportunity to register directly to steps 5 and 6 in Chemical Engineering Technology.
