Introduction
Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) students will study many facets of early learning and child development, focusing on children's needs from birth through school age and their families.
ECCE students learn how to develop programs and create child-centred, nurturing, and rich environments with potential for early development.
Learners will be prepared to work with young children and their families in various exciting and rewarding roles. They will be able to participate in the planning and delivery of programs that focus on healthy child development and develop relationships within early care and learning.
By entering the ECCE program, students choose a flexible career path with many options. After completing the Certificate Program, graduates can choose to work in a variety of settings or attend a second year to complete their Human Services Diploma.
