The Certificate IV in Visual Arts will give you a broad experience of 2D art forms, including painting, printmaking, drawing, illustration, digital art and photo media. Developed with industry input, and emphasising innovation and self-sufficiency, you will be encouraged to develop career networks and pathways for your future.
The course will allow you to follow the pathway to further education through the Diploma of Visual Arts, specialising in illustration, painting, photography and our new specialisation focusing on textiles (available from 2014 at Prahran campus).

Melbourne Polytechnic’s Certificate IV in Visual Arts is taught by experienced teachers who are practising artists, illustrators, photographers and designers, working with you to hone your skills while expanding your networks with other practising artists.
International Students Entrance Requirements
Academic: Australian Year 12 equivalency or higher. English Language: Academic IELTS 5.5 overall or recognised equivalency. Specific: Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in the visual arts field.
