Certification: The Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA).

The Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) provides you the skills and knowledge required to work effectively as a teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

CELTA is awarded and administered by the University of Cambridge (ESOL Examinations) and is one of the most widely-recognized qualifications for people who wish to become professional teachers of English language.

What will I learn?

This course is ideal if you have no experience of teaching English as a foreign language, but also if you are a more experienced teacher looking to gain a teaching qualification.

It develops an awareness of both the English language itself and language teaching methodology. It also has a strong emphasis on practical teaching skills, through daily teaching practice with language students.
