Program Description

⚡️ Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

We have temporarily modified programmes to virtual learning classrooms, so that all the scheduled teaching can take place online. Programmes will start in November 2020 and, if required, teaching online and then change to on-campus learning.

Join the Bayreuth International Online Courses 2020!

Each year, the Bayreuth International Summer School (BISS) brings students from all over the world to the lovely town of Bayreuth. The annual summer school in Bayreuth encompasses a two-week course programme, exciting leisure activities, a 3-day excursion to Berlin, a welcome and farewell dinner, and an unforgettable time in Bavaria. Due to the global travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the On-Campus (BISS) courses for 2020 are postponed until July 2021.

Our Online Courses offer high-quality education at your own pace, wherever you are in the world. Partnered with leading universities and renowned lecturers from around the world we seek to deliver diverse and interdisciplinary short courses while lowering the barriers of higher education.

You are able to choose from a multitude of partly credit-eligible online courses starting July 2020 with additional content being added throughout the following months.

BISS 10th Anniversary
