Offered by technical institutions, vocational schools and community colleges, an Associate of Science generally requires that students take courses that focus on science-related subjects. These programs typically last two years and can prepare students for four-year degree programs.
What is an Associate of Science in Media? In this program, students learn about media from numerous perspectives. Many programs allow students to explore both the design and the production of media. Students may be given opportunities to engage with media from an analytic perspective as well. Classes may cover marketing, film, the news, history, communications, media technology and social media. In addition, visual art, audio production, animation and computer-based training may be covered.
