Master

Associate of arts (AA) degrees are academic degrees given given by community and technical colleges to students who complete two years of courses that center around a specific field of study. State and private universities generally do not award associate of arts degrees although it is common for students to earn their AA at a less expensive community or vocational college and transfer to a four-year university where they can pursue higher degrees.

Benefits of Earning An Associate of Arts

Students earning an AA degree are qualified to work in specialized positions after only two years of schooling.. For example, an associates of arts degree is all that is needed to work as a:Respiratory therapist, Dental hygienist, Assistant physical therapist, Radiology technologist, Paralega, Licensed practical nurse, Geological/petroleum technicians, Business adminstration, etc.

In addition, an associate of arts degree is perfect for those who prefer to enter the workforce as soon as possible without spending four or more years attending lectures, writing research intensive papers and completing internships.

Cost of Earning An Associate of Arts

Costs vary among educational institutions offering AA degrees but usually fall between $4000 and $6000 USD (3200 and 4750 EUR). Some degree programs cost less because they may not take the full two years to complete due to reduced credit requirement.
