Besides being home to the legendary Hollywood, Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States and the largest in the state of California. It has hosted the Olympics games twice before and is divided into 80 districts and neighborhoods. The city is home to three public universities and a host of other institutions.

The study of the properties of food is included in food and beverage studies. Where food comes from, how food and beverages are produced, and how these items are transported, stored and consumed are all examined in these studies.

The USA remains the world’s most popular destination for international students. Universities in the US dominate the world rankings and the country also offers a wide variety of exciting study locations. State university systems are partially subsidized by state governments, and may have many campuses spread around the state, with hundreds of thousands of students.

An Associate of Arts degree is the stepping-stone for many students. After focusing on a field of study for two years at a vocational, technical, or community college, students can go onto finding better careers or earning a higher degree.
