What is an Associate of Arts in Education? An A.A. in Education is a liberal arts education that typically provides students with the necessary tools and information to teach professionally. Education students may develop a basic knowledge of educational theories and classroom best practices. Program participants also often refine their communication and observation skills, develop personal philosophies of teaching, and gain proficiency in the use of educational technologies.
