Introduction

This economy consists of earnings totaling $1.6 billion dollars and annual revenue of $29 billion dollars (information sourced from the Georgia Council for the Arts publication titled Georgia’s Creative Economy).
Upon completion of this program, students will:
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in at least one area of Communication Arts or basic proficiency in more than one area.
Demonstrate the ability to understand history and major movements of at least one area of Communication Arts.
Demonstrate the ability to identify specific genres of Communication Arts and to place these genres into historical and cultural perspectives.
