An Associate of Applied Science in Tourism and Hospitality allows students to learn more about the practices and principles that govern these industries. It is a career-focused degree, though generalized enough that you can likely choose a specific path that interests you later. Classes you might take include Introduction to Customer Service, Food Service Best Practices, Travel Marketing and Event Planning Principles. Some program may include an internship, in which you can expect to apply the concepts you’ve learned in a customer service-oriented environment.
