NOTE: This degree can be used for students who want a two-year associate degree or to transfer to Ferris State University. This degree can be used as the first step in a career ladder, or to enable persons who are already employed to move up to a mid-level management position with their current employer. It can also be coupled with other professional skills or certificates to allow graduates to move to management positions in those professions.

Prerequisites

  • You will need to demonstrate proficiencies prior to graduation in reading, mathematics and English based on SMC assessment tests, ACT or SAT scores, or by taking the recommended courses.
  • Some of the courses in this curriculum have specific prerequisites that may not be listed as part of the degree requirement. These are described in the course descriptions.

Course Sequence
