Introduction

The Associate of Arts degree in General and Religious Education offers a Christian liberal arts core with a foundational knowledge of the Bible and Christian ministries. This basic curriculum prepares the student to continue study in a specialized field. The graduate of this program will be able to: Formulate and express basic concepts of the humanities and general culture; Continue post-secondary education in the liberal arts; Exhibit a foundational knowledge of Bible content and doctrine; Demonstrate basic ministry skills in evangelizing, discipline, and counselling.
