Students who wish to gain expertise in wine and winemaking may wish to pursue studies in oenology. In this course of study, students can learn about wine regions around the world, the scientific process of turning grapes into wine and wine production.

An associate degree is an undergraduate degree offered in the US and a few other countries. Associate degrees are a qualification below a bachelor's degree. Many students earn associate degrees during their first few years of higher education.
