With the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic we wanted to take the time to provide some information about our programs. All our summer classes will be offered online or in a hybrid format to keep with social distancing requirements. Also, Parkland has developed alternative options, should international travel and the US visa process be impacted. New students will have the option to take online courses during our summer and fall terms from their home country at our reduced international online rate. Online college-level credits transfer to most US institutions in the same manner as face-to-face credits.
Should you be unable to obtain an F1 visa appointment/interview and choose to take online courses your next steps are below:
- Complete the online application here
- Complete necessary assessment tests (remotely)
- Meet with an academic advisor to select courses (remotely)
We are here to help you through this process. Please email email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
Today's manufacturing plants are high-tech hubs of automation and CNC and PLC programming. An industry shortage of trained industrial technicians and the need to keep increasingly sophisticated machinery functioning and efficient will drive demand for these skilled workers.
Get the skills
Skilled technicians troubleshoot machinery issues, improve system efficiency, and ensure the quality of products using the latest technology. Our graduates report high job satisfaction and significant earning potential. Students receive hands-on training in welding, machinery maintenance, and automation, computer-aided drafting, and CNC programming - just the skills needed to go right to work in as little as two years.
