BCA National has four intakes a year:
- Intake dates for 2018 are 29 January, 23 April, 16 July, 8 October.
Each intake marks the start of a new term. One term is 10 weeks of study followed by a 2-week break in between terms with an additional 4-week break over Christmas and New year holidays.
- During the term, each course meets for at least 20 hours a week of training.
