The purpose of this qualification is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to develop software solutions to solve business problems efficiently using the latest technologies. It produces the diplomat with the theoretical and practical skills set to apply the latest technologies and tools when developing an optimal software solution for a business.

Admission requirements

Any appropriate Bachelor’s degree or 3 year Diploma in Information Technology, with at least one year of software development experience. Applicants need an average of 60% during their final year of study.

Meeting the Faculty’s minimum requirements for a particular programme does not necessarily guarantee admission to that programme as specific selection criteria may be applied and due to space constraints.

Registration and Start Dates

Registration starts in January and lectures in February for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate course work programmes.

All research programmes for Masters and PhD can register throughout the year.

End Date: Academic starts in January and ends in December. Programme deadline is determined by the duration of the programme.
