Our 3D animation program in Kelowna, BC, trains you to succeed in this continually in demand and evolving field. Through concept development and storyboarding all the way to post-production and special effects, our Animation for Game, Film, & Visual Effects diploma program allows you to build a strong foundation of 3D animation skills to start your career as an animator in gaming, film, and animation studios across the country.
3D ANIMATION CAREER TRAINING KELOWNA
Our 2-year 3D animation training program gives you the skills to start a career in animation through courses designed to simulate a real production studio.
Animation for Game, Film, & Visual Effects highlights include:
- Versatile 3D animation skills training, covering everything from modeling to lighting, texturing, rigging, rendering, compositing, 2D classical animation, life drawing, character design, layout design, game design, and storyboarding.
- A small class size environment where you’ll be taught by our industry professional instructors through experiential learning.
- A mentored production apprenticeship where you will work closely with industry professionals, being challenged to unleash your creativity while assembling your progressively skilled portfolio as part of your final project.

PROGRAM START DATES
There are four starts within the calendar year: January, April, July, and October. Many of our programs have multiple starts, however, not all campuses offer all four starts and not all programs are offered during each start. For the most up-to-date information, contact a Program Advisor.
Although the Centre encourages applicants to submit applications a minimum of six weeks prior to program commencement, with permission, late applications may still be allowed. All applications received less than six weeks prior to program start require the seat reservation deposit paid in full as well as all other admissions requirements to be completed at the time of the application.
