A-levels are internationally recognised qualifications. Universities in many countries will accept three A level A-C grades as meeting the admissions criteria across a wide range of courses.

A-levels are all taught in small groups of shared tuition.

At Greene’s, there is a core list of CIE A levels – shown in the table below – from which students can choose any three.

Science A levels also require additional time for practical work – typically about three hours per week.

CIE A level exams take place in November and May/June of each year and each A level course is divided into two parts: A first year part called “AS” and a second year part called “A level”. Students generally take their AS exams at the end of their first year of A level study and their A level exams at the end of their second year.
