Bristow Academy is one of the world’s largest commercial helicopter training providers, with a global customer base that spans over 120 countries. It conducts as many as 45,000 training flight hours annually with a fleet of more than 50 aircraft. The Academy's main campus is in Titusville, Florida. Additional training facilities are located in Carson City, Nevada, and Gloucester, England.

Bristow Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). ACCSC is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. ACCSC accreditation promotes institutional accountability by systematically and comprehensively evaluating institutions based upon criteria established via the Standards of Accreditation. As an ACCSC-accredited institution, Bristow Academy is committed to ongoing assessment and enhancement of educational quality and continuous improvement.

Flight Training

Bristow Academy provides commercial and military flight training programs that are customized to meet the individual needs of group contract clients. Military program training is conducted by a core of highly experienced former military Instructor Pilots (IP), many with Special Operations and Combat flying experience.

Bristow Academy is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Department of Homeland Security (for issuance of F-1 and M-1 student visas), and the Veterans Administration (for training of veterans, reservists, and other eligible persons under the provisions of Title 38, U.S. Code).

Bristow Academy’s EASA Integrated Commercial Pilot License (CPL-H) program is designed for students wishing to obtain employment within the European flight market. This program meets the minimum requirement of 135 hours of flight training to meet the flying experience requirements of EASA Part FCL 1178/2011 Annex 1, Appendices 3 and 4. Classes start in January, May, and September and are limited to 14 students in each class.
