Flight Academy, based in Italy at Perugia airport (LIRZ), organises aviation training. The Academy is certified by ENAC (The Italian Aviation Authority) and provides complete preparation for all those who want to transform their passion for flight into a solid and rewarding profession whilst ensuring the highest level of competence and safety thanks to our expert staff.

HOW TO REGISTER

To register for FLIGHT ACADEMY courses, you need to:

  • Pass an entry check.
  • Obtain an EU Class 1 or 2 Medical certificate in accordance with Part MED-FCL.

Air Transport Pilot License ATPL (A)

Campus Full time 14 - 14 months Italy

This license allows you to start your career from being a first officer to becoming a captain in multi-pilot and multi-engine aircrafts on commercial flights. [+]

This license allows you to start your career from being a first officer to becoming a captain in multi-pilot and multi-engine aircrafts on commercial flights. Those who already have a PPL(A), will receive an accreditation of 50% of their hours flown (up to 40 hours) after a flight test with our Head of Training. DURATION The course lasts 14 months. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Minimum age: 18 years old Obtain an EU Class 1 Medical certificate from an EASA-approved Aeromedical Centre in accordance with Part MED-FCL English, Mathematics and Physics entry tests on arrival THEORETICAL PART 750 hours of theoretical ground training (including preparatory 80-hour course of Mathematics and Physics). 25 hours dedicated to the MCC course. Progress Tests and Final Exams. Other activities: guided tours to airport institutions, classwork, interactive videos, audio-visual presentations, library consultations, computer lessons, long briefings and more. Possibility of attending an English course. PRACTICAL PART 195 hours of practical flight training. ACCOMMODATION Our cadets can stay in affiliated hotels or apartments. An ATPL (H) license allows you to act as the Captain or Co-Pilot of a helicopter used for commercial flights. [+]

An ATPL (H) license allows you to act as the Captain or Co-Pilot of a helicopter used for commercial flights. DURATION 680 hours in total. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Minimum age for obtaining a theoretical license: 16 years; 18 years for admission to practical skill test Obtain an EU Class 1 Medical certificate from an EASA-approved Aeromedical Centre in accordance with Part MED-FCL Entry examination on arrival in Mathematics, Physics Good knowledge of the English language THEORETICAL PART 500 hours of theoretical ground training. Other activities: guided tours to airport institutions, classwork, interactive videos, audio-visual presentations, library consultations, computer lessons, long briefings and more.
