KELOWNA AUDIO ENGINEERING TRAINING - STUDIO PRODUCTION CERTIFICATE
Our new professional music recording training program, the Studio Production certificate, was created for anyone interested in a career in the music industry, but with a special focus and specialization on music production and recording in a studio environment.
Studio Production program highlights include:
- Advanced training in studio production work to give you practical experience in high-end custom music studios with equipment ranging from analogue and digital hardware and software to consumer equipment and facilities.
- Training to allow you to not only work on the music side of things, but to also thrive in the business of music as well. This means training in project management, networking, troubleshooting, career planning, communications, and client relations, to help you build your reputation in studio production, with a foundation of acoustics and electronic maintenance for building, modifying, and maintaining effective recording spaces.
WHEN YOU GRADUATE FROM OUR AUDIO ENGINEERING PROGRAM, YOU WILL BE ARMED WITH:
A specialized certificate in Studio Production from a leading audio engineering school with specialized training in audio engineering for all applications including music, theatre, concerts, broadcasting, Internet, gaming, video, and film, using the latest hardware and software in a professional studio environment.
You will have the ability and the tools to create a polished professional demo reel.
CAREERS IN MUSIC: STUDIO PRODUCTION
Graduates of the Studio Production Certificate can work as a:

PROGRAM START DATES
There are four starts within the calendar year: January, April, July, and October. Many of our programs have multiple starts, however, not all campuses offer all four starts and not all programs are offered during each start. For the most up-to-date information, contact a Program Advisor.
Although the Centre encourages applicants to submit applications a minimum of six weeks prior to program commencement, with permission, late applications may still be allowed. All applications received less than six weeks prior to program start require the seat reservation deposit paid in full as well as all other admissions requirements to be completed at the time of the application.
