Haute Couture Pattern Making
The Intensive Course are intended for all users who wish to follow a focused and thematic teaching.
The Koefi a Countess Toni Alba at the age of 16 projected a new technique that was quite revolutionary in those years: it consisted in not cutting patterns on a plane surface but modelling them directly on the mannequin, in this way presenting a three-dimensional vision of the paper pattern. This method is still core in the contemporary Fashion Industry. The course teaches the methodology of tailoring called “moulage” applying its principles on the industrial patternmaking needs, on haute couture tailoring process, on the digital CAD / CAM applications for the prêt-à-porter (ready-towear) fashion features.
