So if you’re looking to become a performing musician who’s not only looking to write and produce music, but also to push the boundaries of live performance then this is the course for you.
Alongside the technical and creative work you will be developing your understanding of the music industry and how you can make a living from it…practicing event management, online business, budgeting and finance, management processes, career strategies, project management and PR and marketing skills.
During this course you will master the technology that supports performance. You will record and produce your own music and learn to use technology as an extension of your instrument.
Taught at dBs Music’s premier training centre in Camborne, Cornwall. As with all dBs Music centres, students will find industry experienced staff, excellent equipment and a relaxed learning environment. Day to day the course is delivered through seminars, workshops, group work, performances, studio work and individual practice sessions. You will develop a routine of professional practice based around your instrument and the skills you need to develop.
This course is for the incredibly focused and ambitious student who wants to enter the industry at the highest level. The minimum entry requirement for applicants with A levels/AS levels/ BTEC is 120 UCAS points plus a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English. Other similar qualifications may be considered on an individual basis.
