HNC/HND Computing and Systems Development
This programme is designed to equip you with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in a wide range of computing and business careers or for further study in these areas at degree level.
The course comprises 16 Modules which are studied over two years. We emphasise the breadth of IT business applications and the supporting business environment where applications are developed.
You will be expected to attend all lectures, seminars and tutorial sessions. Practical sessions will be activity-based, often employing group work and using computer facilities. These sessions will help you to develop computer-based solutions to problems and use and apply case study material.
Modules are assessed by a variety of methods including assignments, projects, case studies, practical exercises and examinations.
When you graduate from this course, you will be in the perfect position to enter a range of computing-related careers. On successful completion of the HND, you may also progress onto a one year 'top-up' programme leading to a BSc (Hons) degree.
