Designed for graduates working in the energy industry or those looking for a change in career, this course can take you anywhere in the world. This interdisciplinary course will equip you with the skills to combat the global issues of climate change.
You will learn about methods of sustainable energy production and how to improve existing energy systems. You'll develop an understanding of the social and environmental aspects of energy use, including economic, policy and technical issues and have the opportunity to undertake a short research project to explore an area you're really passionate about.
With training in state of the art research and teaching facilities, you will gain practical experience and learn from experts from the Murdoch University Energy Research and Innovation Group (MUERI). Many of our staff have international teaching experience in the Postgraduate Program in Renewable Energy (PPRE) at the University of Oldenburg in Germany.

Qualify and apply
Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training, in a related area. Students with alternative, satisfactory preparation may also be admitted.
Some of the units taken assume some prior knowledge. Some students may therefore need to complete additional prerequisite units.
In order to gain admission to Murdoch University, students must satisfy Murdoch University English requirements by demonstrating competency in the English Language.
