9 WEEKS PER LEVEL

Intakes are 4 times per year (February, May, September and November).

This program is designed to help students reach the minimum IELTS academic English level of 5.0, required for entry into the undergraduate and the postgraduate programs. By using the Cambridge University Touchstone methodology, students will receive the highest and newest level of English training available on the market.

The course will provide students with relevant skills in English Language, Comprehension, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking and will also introduce them to terminology and particular vocabulary of the hospitality industry. An introductory computer course will be given to familiarize students with necessary computer operations and skills, preparing them with a successful foundation for the core hospitality program. For this program lecturers will use the latest teaching technology: Mimio (interactive whiteboards).

Students will be placed in the appropriate level according to their English level evaluated by a pre-admissions exam equivalent to the IELTS English Exam at the beginning of their studies. There are in total three different levels and each level is a 9-week course (one quarter). Students who show a significant improvement may be able to skip a level. At the core of this program lays the interaction between the students and the teacher which is facilitated with Mimio interactive whiteboards, the latest in teaching technology.
