This program is tailormade for the motivated and self-disciplined future pilots. In the end of this course you will be ready to step in a JET AIRLINER as B737NG/A320 [+]

Welcome To the beginning of your journey... Stockholm Flight Academy started as a project 2013 by a dedicated team of aviation professionals such as Airline Pilots, Instructors and other essential personnel. Since then the academy has grown into a fully functional EASA Approved Training Organization. We have a large variety of different experiences and that, we believe, is the key to a successful organization. SFA is today mainly based at Stockholm Västerås Airport. Other training centers include Stockholm Arlanda Airport. We’re pleased to offer high standard student accommodation in connection to the training center. We can offer shared accommodation to fully furnished one-bedroom apartments. All-inclusive is a common term in our organization. One of our key principles is to assist the student with all the necessary arrangements outside the training itself. Why? So the student can focus on what really matters: the flight training. Contact us and we’d be happy to tell you more about our academy and why we should be your first choice. AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT From zero to frozen ATPL license. This is a fulltime program that takes you from 0 flight hours until you receive your own frozen ATPL, which is what you need to fly for an airline. Our program also includes Jet Orientation Course (JOC), Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Airline Prep Course (APC). After completion of the program, you are then eligible to apply for a position at an airline. Pre-Entry Requirements: Medical Class 1 English level B Mathematics level B Physics level B SFA Pilot Assessment SFA Pilot Assessment is our main tool in the admission process. It is comprised of several tests including, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Physics, English and Aptitude. This assessment is a product developed by aviation experts, psychologists and behavioral scientists. The Assessment takes one day to complete and starts with theoretical exams and finishes with an Aptitude test. The results will be given on the same day. Once you have applied for a training slot at our academy, we will give you the necessary information required to prepare for our Pilot Assessment. An important note regarding our assessment is unlike other tools ours is not based on a “pass/no-pass” test result. The feedback will be thorough. Should you lack the Pre-Entry requirements, we will offer you the training required to reach our satisfactory standard. ATP-Program This program will take you from zero hours (no previous experience) to a fully trained and licensed commercial pilot, including multi-crew training. The course will take approximately 19 months. Private Pilot License (PPL) This is the first step in your professional pilot career. This is where you learn the basics of how to fly an aircraft. Based at our training centre located at Brighton City Airport and our new satellite base in Teruel, Spain (near Valencia) our Economy Integrated Flight Deck Programme is a full time flight-training programme, which takes students from little or no flying experience to a “Frozen ATPL” in approximately 16 months. Once all theory and ground school is complete, students go to Teruel to carry out the first three flight phases in a Piper PA28 aircraft, before coming back to the UK to complete the advanced phases. This has allowed us to create a £10,000 reduction in price on the standard course. It is identical to the standard integrated course in all other cases. Upon successful competition of the course, students will be eligible to apply for a First Officer Role at any commercial airline. Once you have gained 1,500 hours flying experience your ATPL then becomes ‘unfrozen’, enabling you to apply for a Captain role at any commercial airline. Our Integrated Flight Deck Programme’s are our most popular courses, and are the preferred training route for most airlines. Modules The full time course is broken down into the following phases: Basic Theory (Brighton, UK) ATPL Theory (Brighton, UK) Flying Phases 1 & 2 (Teruel, Spain) Flying Phase 3 (Teruel, Spain) Flying Phase 4 & MCC (Brighton, UK) Entry requirements: Candidate entry requirements: At least 5 X GCSEs (to include Maths and English) or equivalent Preferably 2 x A levels or equivalent Minimum age: 17 years An EASA class 1 medical certificate (conducted at London Gatwick – for full information and bookings please visit: www.caa.co.uk) Pre-entry assessment: - While it is not a prerequisite for enrolment, we recommend that all applicants complete an assessment with an impartial body, such as the The Honourable Company of Air Pilots.
