Applicants must also either have achieved GCSE grade C in maths and English or Functional Skills at level 2 in both maths and English. Equivalent qualifications including an International Baccalaureate and full Access to Higher Education Diplomas will be considered. If you are over 21 without formal qualifications, your application will be appreciated providing you can show a high level of ability and relevant experience. What will I study ? The College has a unique partnership with the University of Bolton. The University has a unique partnership with RLR Motorsport, an independent racing team who race in the Le Mans 24hr race, historic series Formula 1, speed series sports racing, and other international events. This course will enable you to work alongside our partners to gain practical industry experience in areas such as aerodynamics, engine testing, parts manufacture and materials testing. The course is designed to meet the academic requirements leading to Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. You will benefit from excellent industry contacts and links with some of the world's leading automotive companies such as Bentley Motors, Jaguar Land Rover and Cosworth Engineering. The course is divided into modules, taught in semesters (there are two semesters per year). You take six compulsory modules per year.
