This course offers the latest theory on urban development and management. It guides participants through economic, social and environmental urban theories and links these to the latest management theories, including theories on policies, plans, finances and governance structures. It offers the knowledge to analyse urban development and to manage the cities of the future.

 

The course can be attended as a short course or as a Master of Science over three years. In the latter case, this course comprises the first year of the masters. The second year allows participants to specialize during a period of four months; and the third year comprises research methods and a thesis. The second year can partly be attended by e-learning and the last year can be fully attended from home, supervised from a distance. Hence, you can acquire a fully-accredited masters by being away for only 6 months spread over two years.... [-]
