Course Studies in Engineering & Technology in Ile-de-France in France. For a significant and rewarding experience in Paris , EPITA offers 2 or 3-week summer programs (up to 3 ECTS credits), between the 11th of July and the 31st of July 2016, from €1,090 only. By opening its doors to foreign students, EPITA aims to educate a broad and diverse population. EPITA supports international students in acquiring multiple skills and discovering the French way of teaching. In order to boost students’ experiences in Paris, classes are focused on communication and participation. EPITA Summer School courses are full-time, intensive programs, and consist of at least 30 contact hours over the two-week period. Students will therefore have to choose among the following courses, entirely taught in English: Mobile Development 2 weeks / 2 ECTS credits The aim is to design a mobile application from scratch and know its structure and basic elements. Students will learn how to make screen layouts and user interfaces, manage contents, understand mobile applications characteristics (performance, optimization, market segmentation,), and develop a simple application for Android or iOS and install on the device. Video Games Development 3 weeks / 3 ECTS credits The aim is to design a video game with graphics and sounds. Students will learn how to use the computer components (sound cards, graphic cards,) to build up their game which is usually developed for Windows. The offered games are often a replication of those that are very well known in the market and usually most played by students. Cyber and Information Security 2 weeks / 2 ECTS credits The aim of this module is to expose the students to the client and server side security concepts. Students will understand the major security vulnerabilities associated with web technologies such as such as XSS, SQL injection, manipulate and fix those vulnerabilities, and deploying a state-of-the-art SSL/TLS configuration on a web server. Topics will include cryptography penetrating testing, digital forensics. EPITA Summer School gives ECTS credits for its courses. L’école de son propose un cursus de deux ans de tronc commun de technicien son avec des spécialisations en troisième année autour du Son Audiovisuel, Son musical, Radio ou Sonorisation d’évènements. Le programme débute en octobre pour se terminer en juin. Il est constitué de cours réguliers et de travaux dirigés interrompus par les périodes de contrôles, de préparation de production, de tournage et de post production. En 1ère et 2nde année, les enseignements représentent en moyenne 25 heures par semaine. Les cours théoriques Ils concernent les trois domaines suivants : connaissances scientifiques et technologie des équipements culture artistique, et plus particulièrement culture musicale techniques de prise de son et de mixage Leur objectif est de permettre à l’étudiant d’identifier et d’analyser pour chacun des domaines d’application le problème à résoudre et de trouver les solutions adaptées pour atteindre au mieux, dans le cadre du budget et des contraintes matérielles, les ambitions du commanditaire. Acquérir cette “vision globale” du son n’est possible que par l’articulation judicieuse des différents paramètres de la réalisation (esthétiques et techniques), ce qui constitue l’objectif essentiel des cours. Les travaux dirigés Ils ont pour but d’initier les élèves au maniement des matériels, de leur faire réaliser des exercices et de les préparer techniquement à leurs prochaines réalisations. Les productions et exercices Constituant à la fois des étapes essentielles dans le processus de formation et la synthèse des enseignements théoriques et pratiques accomplis, leur nombre, leur importance, leur ordonnancement dans le cursus, correspondent à l’acquisition et à la maîtrise progressive de l’écriture et de la réalisation. Les stages En milieu professionnel, les stages ont pour objectif de faire découvrir la réalité des contraintes de production ainsi que les nombreux champs d’application du secteur (studios d’enregistrement, radios, spectacles, conventions et productions audiovisuelles), pour mieux choisir sa voie et se constituer un carnet d’adresses. Ils sont obligatoires en 2nde et 3ème année à raison de huit semaines, soit 16 semaines en tout, qui sont nécessaires à l’obtention du diplôme. Le service des stages, qui est en relation permanente avec les entreprises, met à la disposition des étudiants des offres de stages tout au long de l’année. Students will interact with IOT prototyping devices, 3D printing and learn how to use different components for their projects (motion sensors, camera, wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc…). 1 day of Ideation / off campus activity WEEK 2: Project Ideation and Bootstrap January 30th to February 3rd, 2017 With the help of the Epitech Innovation Hub, IOT professionals and Epitech instructors, students will have to challenge themselves and make a working prototype of the connected object of their choice! Previous year projects include autonomous plant watering systems, an automatic barman, an automatic remote controlled car, and many more !
