You will gain an appreciation of the nature and importance of modern chemical theories. Chemistry makes a major contribution to the needs of society. We will use a variety of teaching methods – lessons with interactive smart board, demonstrations, group work, presentations, workshops and research. The new AQA linear A Level Chemistry course will be taught in 2015. This means that students will sit all of their exams at the end of the second year. Here are some of the topics we cover: Atomic structure Moles, bonding and periodicity Organic Chemistry Energy, kinetics Thermodynamics and much more. Chemistry is the solid platform for careers in medicine or industry and is essential for veterinary science and medicine. I am very pleased that I have taken this course.
