This course equips you with all the skills needed to ensure you are at the cutting edge of technology in both electronics and communications. We’ve designed our Foundation Degree to prepare you for a career in both the design and operation elements of the industry. That means you’ll be working on practical projects alongside your theoretical learning, to ensure you develop the right aptitudes for whatever job you choose. Career Progression With a Foundation Degree under your belt, you could work as an electronics engineer or professional industry manager. Entry Requirements To apply for this course, you require a relevant Level 3 Extended Diploma (PPP) or Advanced New Diploma (120 points minimum), or AS/A2 Levels (minimum 120 points including 80 points at A2). Alternatively, you may enter the programme with an NVQ Level 3 or CGLI Level 3 Advanced Diploma or Access Certificate. Students are also required to possess a minimum of Grade C in GCSE English Language and Maths. Entry requirements for the HNC are a BTEC National qualification in a relevant subject area or at least one A level and appropriate GCSE at grade C or above. Applicants should be aged 18 or above.
