The A-Level programme at Oxford Royale Academy combines small class sizes with expert tuition, to ensure that students excel within their subjects and flourish in their future pursuits. The A-Level course here at Oxford Royale Academy offers students aged 16+ the chance to study with us for up to 2 years. The A-Levels (also called Advanced Levels) are recognised worldwide and are used as a condition of entry for the UK’s best universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. Oxford Royale Academy prides itself on treating every student as an individual. We allow our students to build their own bespoke timetable with additional options of supplementary study such as English Language, University Preparation and Careers Guidance. We also support students in deciding which A-Levels they would like to take, advise them on opportunities to develop their learning outside the classroom and help them to build independent learning skills which are necessary for further study worldwide. In addition to the academic programme, students at Oxford Royale Academy are provided with a vibrant range of extracurricular activities and entertainment which supplement the curriculum. All students are able to reside and study in Yarnton Manor, benefiting from this beautiful location and its excellent learning facilities, whilst also being just 15 minutes from Oxford’s bustling city centre. A-Levels are among the most respected and accredited exams for school leavers in the world. A-Levels are the exams taken by students aged 16-18 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. More than ¾ million candidates take A-Levels every year, and the A-Level results are recognised by universities worldwide. A high grade in the A-Levels is important for entry into top universities in the world such as Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge and Yale. The A-Level programme at Oxford Royale Academy offers the chance for students to take up to 3 A-Levels over a 5 or 6 term period. In addition, there is a 3-term programme for students who are of exceptional ability and are considered to already have covered the first year of A-Level material. Whilst many schools and colleges offer the A-Level programme, few offer such a bespoke and tailored timetable as here at Oxford Royale Academy. Here, students can pick and choose exactly which individual A-Levels they would like to study, and can choose to supplement this study with our supplementary study modules such as UCAS and University Guidance or Academic Essay Writing. In addition to learning the subject knowledge needed to achieve a high grade in the A-Levels, students also learn how to revise effectively, how to structure an essay and how to prepare a presentation in our weekly academic skills workshops, and have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge with our personal development programme. We are confident that you will progress at a much faster rate here at Oxford Royale Academy than other schools or colleges. In most Sixth Forms, schools and international colleges, the average class size is 20 people. Here at Oxford Royale Academy, we prefer the Oxbridge-style teaching methods, focused around a maximum of 4 students in a class (called a tutorial). This style of teaching offers the chance to discuss topics in depth with the tutor, to ask questions and to complete the course at your own pace. A-Levels are notable for their academic rigour. While any subject will require some memorisation of facts, A-Levels generally reward creativity, insight, analysis and deeper understanding rather than the shallowness of rote learning. This makes studying for A-Levels a good preparation for the kind of mental dexterity required at university, as well as being a satisfying intellectual challenge that will leave you feeling academically stretched. Best Part time Course Studies in Economics and Administration in United Kingdom. Human Resource Management - Advanced Professional Development [Level HE7] part-time This course covers the key concepts and applications of Human Resource Management (HRM) theories and techniques relating to the education sector. There will be a particular emphasis on how organisations respond to personal development in attempting to become responsive not only to individuals but to the demands of a competitive post compulsory sector market with its increasing emphasis upon entrepreneurial strategies. You will negotiate your assignment with your tutor, ensuring a fit between your circumstances and your employment context. If your job description includes a junior or middle management dimension, you would be expected to analyse and evaluate your own HRM skills in the light of your own experiences in addition to what you have learned, indicating areas for improvement. If you do not have the requisite work experience you would be expected to demonstrate practical problem solving skills through the analysis and evaluation of a written case study or studies. On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a certificate of credit for 20 credits at Level HE7. In addition, you may use these credits towards one of the Masters in Education degrees offered by the University of Bolton. You will consult and work closely with your tutor whilst deciding which mode of assessment to choose. Initially if you are employed in education, training or a related area, with responsibility for managing a team of staff, you should decide whether you should produce a work-based HRM assignment or a case study analysis. Secondly, if you choose the work-based model you should then consider whether you wish to embark on either a written piece of work, or a combination of a video-recorded, work-based role play plus written analysis. If you have limited management experience you will be provided with a detailed HRM case study to analyse in the light of HRM theory and concepts. This module is part of a suite of professional development courses offered by the University of Bolton covering contemporary issues and developments in education. The modules are designed to equip you with advanced skills and knowledge as you progress in your career and take on additional levels of responsibility. To gain a Masters in Education award you need 180 credits; 120 credits from undertaking advanced professional development courses or other selected modules and 60 credits from completing a dissertation. There has to be a balance between what are called option and core modules but this is straightforward and the Programme Leader can advise. The courses can be taken over a number of years, to fit in with your career and work/life balance. Most part-time students gain their Masters qualification in 2 to 3 years, but you can take up to 5 years if you wish. You will have access to 24/7 IT facilities and campus-wide WiFi, as well as one-to-one support from professional and highly experienced tutors.
