Upon successful completion of the course, the pilot will be awarded the EASA Part-FCL CPL/IR/MEP with ATPL Theory Credit. The student has the choice to attend the flight training course on a stand alone basis or the combined course, including the ATPL Theory. Pre-Entry Requirements Valid ICAO CPL/IR/MEP EASA Medical (class 1) Certificate At least 200 hrs total flight time At least 100 hrs as PIC At least one X-country trip 300 NM The Theoretical Training The ATPL theoretical knowledge course comprises of 14 subjects and includes Bristol GS approved inter-active distance learning training, progress tests and sample exams. The minimum duration of the course is 3 months and can commence at any time during the year. The course is designed to be completed via distance learning. The refresh and exam preparation seminars take place in Global Aviation’s Headquarters in Piraeus, Greece. The Flight Training The flight training course comprises a total of 30 hrs and covers the conversion training for the CPL, MEP class rating and IR (SEP and MEP). Of those, 10 hrs are conducted on single engine piston airplanes (SEP), 5 hrs on multi engine piston airplanes (MEP) and 15 hrs on an FNPT II flight simulator. The CPL/IR/MEP Modular, also referred to as ATPL Modular, is a combination of flight training courses. The course consists of the following modules: the Night Qualification (NIT), the Single Engine Instrument Rating IR (IR(A)/SP/SE), the Multi Engine Class Rating (MEP), the Multi Engine Instrument Rating IR (IR(A)/SP/ME) and the Commercial Pilot License (CPL(A)). The flight training course commences with the Night Qualification (SEP: 5 hrs), followed by the Single Engine Instrument Rating (FNPT II: 35 hrs, SEP: 15 hrs), the Commercial Pilot License (SEP: 10 hrs, MEP: 5 hrs), the Multi Engine Class Rating (MEP: 6 hrs) and is completed with the Multi Engine Instrument Rating (FNPT II: 3 hrs and MEP: 2 hrs). The course begins with a 10-month residential theoretical training (ATPL Residential Ground School). Under normal circumstances, the flying training starts about 1 month after the beginning of the course. The duration of the course varies from 12 to 36 months depending on the student’s personal schedule. On average, most students complete the course in 16 months. Pre-Entry Requirements Be at least 17 years old Sufficient knowledge of English Language EASA Medical Certificate (class 1) The Theoretical Training The ATPL theoretical knowledge course (ground school) comprises of 14 subjects and includes 800 hrs of classroom training, including Bristol GS approved inter-active video training, slide presentation, progress tests and sample exams. The duration of the course is 10 months and takes place in Global Aviation’s Headquarters in Piraeus, Greece. The Flight Training The flight training course comprises of a total of 205 hrs in total. Of those 134 hrs are conducted on single engine piston airplanes (SEP), 11 hrs on multi engine piston airplanes (MEP) and 60 hrs on FNPT II flight simulators, including 20 hrs on an FNPT II MCC flight simulator for the Multi Crew Cooperation Course (MCC). At the end of the course, the student pilot will have completed at least 133 hrs dual & 72 hrs pilot in command (PIC) and 85 hrs VFR & 120 hrs IFR.
