Getting a pilot license at an aviation college after graduating from high school You can get a pilot license through an aviation college after graduating from a high school. The advantage of studying at an aviation college is that you can receive a degree as well as a pilot license at the same time. However it takes at least four years to get a license and costs more. Getting a pilot license at a pilot school after graduating from a college/university You can get a pilot license through a flying school after you graduate from a high school and a college/university.
