Science without Borders - Robotics and Control
Umeå University welcomes qualified students from Brazil as part of the Science without Borders (Ciência sem Fronteiras) programme.
Science without Borders is a Brazilian Government scholarship programme which aims to send 100,000 Brazilians in overseas higher education institutions over the next four years to study in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and creative industries at universities across the world.
During the 2013 and 2014, higher education institutions in Sweden will welcome a total of over 2,000 Brazilian students.Seats will beavailable at the undergraduate and postgraduate (master) level.
Field robots, artificial intelligence, mobile robots and embedded systems. The course package in Robotics and Control covers important aspects of modern robotics. Lectures, lab work and projects are closely connected to ongoing research at Umeå University.
The course package is interdisciplinary and deals with several important aspects of the field of robotics, such as autonomous systems, field robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision, mobile robots, embedded systems, modelling and control systems. Many courses contain a large portion of laboratory work to provide hands-on experience using the state of the art software and hardware. The study focus may be put on artificial intelligence related robotics or control related robotics, depending on the student’s interests. Lectures, lab work, projects, and assignments connects to ongoing research in robotics at Umeå University.
