Course in Education and Training - Skills Programme in Conduct Targeted training and development using given methodologies
Upon successful completion of the programme and the learner is declared “Competent” in the Portfolio of Evidence, the learner will receive an ETDP SETA Statement of Results outlining the unit standard covered in Facilitation and credits achieved.
- Knowledge, comprehension and application of English at NQF Level 4/Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Competency in the learning area in which they will provide training.
The programme duration is 32 hours and the tuition is face-to-face. This excludes time to complete assignments, research and self-study.
This Unit Standard will provide recognition for those who conduct or intend to conduct targeted training and development using given methodologies, including group training, group facilitation and presentations. Formal recognition will enhance their employability and also provide a means to identify competent trainers. This Unit Standard will be useful to people who are involved in identifying and providing structured and targeted skills development opportunities in the workplace with individuals and groups.
