The objective of this program is to give the student "hands on" training in Microsoft Office. The practical, rather than theoretical, training includes an in-depth study of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
This program helps students prepare for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.
• Grade 12 or equivalent OR mature student status (19 years of age and one year out of high school).
• Completion of Introduction to Business Computing Certificate, or equivalent.
• Passing score on the entrance examination.
Students will receive a CDI Certificate upon completion of all courses. Students must attend at least 80% of the program sessions and obtain an overall average of 60% in order to qualify for the Certificate.
