This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to assist in the design and construction of garden landscapes or renovation of existing gardens. This course is designed to provide you with the foundation skills and knowledge required by the landscaping industry sector. You will learn skills to maintain and construct domestic and commercial landscapes and recreational landscape structures. You may also learn to recognise plants, plant trees and shrubs, lay paving, construct retaining walls, lay irrigation and drainage pipes, establish turf, treat pests and diseases and operate and maintain machinery and equipment (eg tractors).
