CBL International China Law School is run by CBL International in cooperation with the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University, Shanghai. The academic summer programme is introducing the most relevant law topics to our delegates. All delegates will study abroad in Shanghai and Beijing. For the lectures and company or sight visits we work together with the best universities all over China, for example we worked with  Tsinghua University Law School and Beijing University Law School.

The programme is open to English-speaking students studying law, politics, or any related subject. We give our delegates the opportunity to study Chinese law, econmics, and business, while immersed in the day-to-day life of China’s bustling economic center.

The programme is ideal for students studying law, economics, politics, or international relations. We work together with many law schools and faculties of law worldwide who encurage their students to participate in this outstanding summer law programme in China.

Course Outline

The CBL International China Business School Programme is appropriate for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in international economics, business, and legal trends and developments in China.

All lectures are held in English and given by distinguished Tongji University (one of the top universities in China) professors. You will receive presentations from managers and lawyers covering everyday aspects of their lives and business activities in China. Topics covered include Intercultural Management, Start-up in China, Taxation, and Intellectual Property Rights. On top of the receiving lectures, you will also visit local businesses and attend organized excursions to famous landmarks.

Intercultural Management

An introductory course will provide basics in Mandarin allowing participants to deal with every-day situations during the programme.

An introduction to intercultural communications focuses on the differences between the Chinese culture and the “so-called” Western culture.

Start-up in China

Sightseeing & Leisure time

Besides the lectures, sightseeing in Shanghai and Beijing is part of the programme. Sightseeing in Shanghai is provided by Big Bus Tours, Shanghai. Check out their fascinating tours that allow you to hop on and off at every location Shanghai is so famous for. In Beijing, a trip to the Great Wall is scheduled. There is enough spare time for you to explore the Forbidden City and other famous locations such as the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
