The aim of the course is to provide a paraprofessional business qualification that equips you with the underpinning practical and theoretical knowledge for a career in a range of business and commercial environments or provide eligible graduates seamless articulation into further studies at university.
The Associate Degree of Business has been designed to provide social and personal development, strategies and principles in the disciplines of Accounting, Management, Human Resources Management and Marketing with the ability to apply these concepts in a variety of workplace environments.
This course is registered with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection as a Higher Education qualification. Therefore you must apply for the Higher Education Sector Visa (Subclass 573). Please refer to www.immi.gov.au for further information. The pathways listed for this Associate Degree are based on students studying the courses at Polytechnic West only. Students entering the Associate Degree course after completing the pathway at an alternative Institution may not receive the same credits as students who have completed their full studies at PWA. Please contact ETI for more information. Students may need to attend classes at other Polytechnic West campuses.
